Ready Aviator vs PilotSphere

PilotSphere and Ready Aviator both prepare Indian students for the DGCA CPL written papers, and they are built around different things: PilotSphere adds airline aptitude simulators we do not offer, and we add worked and animated solutions behind every question.
PilotSphere gives away more than we do. Their question bank and mock tests cost nothing beyond an account, and they sell aptitude simulators for ADAPT, COMPASS and Aon cut-e that we do not build at all. What we sell is the thing behind the answer: a worked solution on every question, and an animation on the Air Navigation calculations. If a free pile of questions is what you need, theirs is free and ours is not.
Students who can grind questions but keep losing marks on the calculation papers, and want the working rather than the answer key.
Students who want the widest free bank they can get for an email address, or who are sitting an ADAPT, COMPASS or Aon cut-e assessment.
Every PilotSphere figure here was read on 8 September 2026 from their own public pages, fetched anonymously without signing in: pricing, question bank, previous exams, RTR Part 2, refunds and home. Each is linked below and stored with the date. Their bank sits behind an account, so this page says nothing about their questions or explanations, only what their pages state. Where a capability is not described anywhere, the cell reads "Not published on their site (checked 8 September 2026)" rather than saying they do not have it.

Not the same unit. They charge nothing for the bank and separately for the tutor, the simulator, the aptitude batteries and each course. We charge once. Check theirs before you decide.
A Navigation question is rarely hard because you did not know the formula. It is hard because you picked the wrong one of two that look alike, dropped a unit, or took drift to the wrong side. So every question carries a solution that names the formula, substitutes the numbers a line at a time, and explains each wrong option as the mistake a real student makes.
On the Air Navigation calculation chapters the solution also runs as an animation: the aircraft, the track, the wind and the station drawn to the numbers in that question, moving as the working moves. Hardest to describe, easiest to check.
Ours are organised by subject and sitting, with the month, year and attempt type on each, every sitting its own page with the first five questions readable without an account. Knowing which paper leaned on holding patterns tells you what to revise this week.
Their question bank is free and ours is not
Their pricing page says the bank, the mock tests and the calculators cost nothing beyond a free account, and their bank page puts 10,919 questions on it. We give five questions of every chapter free and charge for the rest. If your budget is nothing, that goes their way.
Airline aptitude testing, which we do not do
They sell ADAPT, COMPASS and Aon cut-e practice from Rs 599 to Rs 1,999 a year. We have a Pilot Aptitude bank and no simulator for any of those batteries.
More tools, and an AI tutor
Their site map lists ten public tools, including a CX-3 calculator, a TAF decoder and a holding pattern calculator, plus an AI tutor. We publish two and no tutor.
Ground school courses across subjects
They sell ground school courses and bundles with lifetime access and a certificate on completion. Our own structured course covers Air Navigation and nothing else yet.
If one of these is you, buy theirs.
Choose PilotSphere if you are also sitting an assessment that uses ADAPT, COMPASS or Aon cut-e. They sell practice for all three and we sell none of it, and buying a second subscription just for that is worse than buying theirs once.
Choose PilotSphere if your budget today is nothing. Their bank is free with an account, on their own statement, and a free bank you use beats a paid one you put off.
Choose PilotSphere if you want a wide free tool set, particularly a CX-3 calculator, a TAF decoder or a holding pattern calculator. We publish two tools and neither is one of those.
Choose PilotSphere if you want ground school courses across several subjects rather than one subject taught properly. Our course covers Air Navigation and will not cover your Technical General paper this year.
Choose PilotSphere if an AI tutor you can ask anything is what you are missing. We do not offer one, on purpose: we would rather write the solution once, carefully, than generate one on demand.

Is PilotSphere free?
Their pricing page states that the bank, the mock tests and the calculators are free with an account. The AI tutor above its daily allowance, the RTR simulator above three attempts, the aptitude bundles and courses are paid.
If their question bank is free, why would I pay for Ready Aviator?
Because a question you got wrong is worth nothing until you know why. What we sell is the worked solution behind every question, and the animation on the Air Navigation calculations. If you already get most questions right, a free bank may be all you need.
Does Ready Aviator have ADAPT or COMPASS practice?
No, and we are not building it. If your assessment runs on ADAPT, COMPASS or Aon cut-e, PilotSphere sell practice for all three.
How current is this comparison?
