How it runs.

9 papers, one per subject, each timed. A generated paper draws from every chapter of the subject in proportion, so no two are the same.
Or sit one of 51 past papers from the same lobby. DGCA does not publish a time per paper: your admit card shows it, and our clock is a practice setting. Students report Air Navigation at about 100 questions in 3 hours, Meteorology at about 50 in 2 hours, Regulations at about 50 in 90 minutes, and Technical General at about 100 in 2.5 hours. Every paper is marked out of 100.

The clock starts with the paper and does not stop when you leave the tab. Flag anything to come back to.
Nothing is marked until you submit, and you submit once.
- 3Read the report
Your score against the 70 percent pass mark, cleared per paper rather than on an average. Wrong, correct and not answered are counted apart, and a blank is never counted wrong. DGCA publishes no negative marking rule, and students report none.

Are the DGCA mock tests free?
Your first mock paper in each subject is free with an account, and more come with Pro. Sample questions in many chapters are open without one. The five question mock needs no account at all.
Is this a DGCA CPL mock test series?
Yes. There is a timed paper for each subject: Air Navigation, Air Regulations, Airbus A320, Aviation English, Aviation Meteorology, Pilot Aptitude, Radio Telephony (R/T), Technical General and Technical Specific. Each paper is drawn fresh from every chapter of the subject, so no two are the same.
How is a mock test marked?
Against the 70 per cent pass mark, each paper on its own. Wrong, correct and not answered are counted apart, and a blank is never counted wrong.
How many mock tests should I take, and what score should I aim for?
At least one full paper for each subject you are booked for, sat once its chapters are done, and another after you have worked through its report. Book the paper once your timed scores sit clear of the 70 per cent pass mark, not on it.
