1. Who We Are

Ready Aviator is an independent exam-preparation platform for Indian DGCA candidates. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who processes it for us, and your choices. Contact us at hello@readyaviator.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account: your email address, and a licence goal that starts as CPL and can be changed in Settings. We have your name only if you add it in Settings, or if you sign in through an outside account: that provider shares your name and email address with us.

After you first sign in, we ask for your mobile phone number, and you can skip the step. We use this for exam window dates, results and cadet programme openings, the day they are announced. Nothing else. To change or remove it, write to us.

As you use the platform: the questions you attempt, your answers, progress, bookmarks and time spent.

When you buy access: the order and payment identifiers, the amount and the payment status. Your card or UPI details go to our payment processor; we never see or store them.

If you use the RT voice simulator: the audio you record, which is turned into text so your call can be marked.

Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, device, browser and error details, needed to run the service securely and fix problems.

3. How We Use Your Information

Only to run and improve the service: your account, grading, progress, payments and access, security and abuse prevention, and fixing errors. We do not sell your personal information, run advertising or build advertising profiles.

4. Who Processes Data for Us

We use outside services for parts of the platform. Each receives only what its job needs:

• Hosting and database: runs the site and stores your account, phone number, answers, progress and payment records.
• Sign-in provider you choose: only if you sign in with an outside account instead of email. It confirms who you are and shares your name and email address.
• Analytics: which pages are visited and how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• Bot protection: a check on the sign-up, sign-in and password-reset forms. It reads technical signals from your browser to tell people from automated sign-ups. The live 3D airport runs the same kind of check, invisibly, before it shows live flights; that check is covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• Error monitoring: technical details of an error, such as the page and the browser.
• Image hosting: serves the diagrams in explanations.
• Rate limiting and abuse prevention: your account ID or IP address and a count of requests.
• Payments: processes your card or UPI payment.
• Speech-to-text: only in the RT voice simulator. It receives the audio you record and returns the text.
• AI marking: marks typed answers and the calls you make in the RT voice simulator. It receives your answer or the text of your call and the question (not your audio, your name or your email).
• AI study help: when you use “Ask about this question”, it receives your question, the question you are studying and our explanation (not your name or your email) and writes the answer. It also writes your Debrief and weekly note from your results, again without your name or your email.
• Voice: speaks the controller's lines in the RT voice simulator. It receives those lines, not your recordings or your details.
• Embedded flight-computer tool: when you open the CX-3 tool, your browser loads it from its maker's servers.
• 3D practice map: while the RT 3D practice map is open, your browser loads its imagery from Google Maps Platform (Map Tiles API), so Google receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy.

Some of these services process data on servers outside India. By using the affected features you consent to this transfer, which is carried out with appropriate safeguards.

5. Students Under 18

Ready Aviator is open to under-18 students. We do not track or profile minors and run no advertising at all. If you are under 18, we encourage you to use it with a parent or guardian involved.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

Questions you type into “Ask about this question” and the answers you were shown are kept for 90 days so we can check the answers are good, then deleted automatically. When we review them we see what was asked and answered, not who asked.

7. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access controls mean you can only see your own account data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. On your first visit we also set a cookie that remembers which website sent you here and the first page you opened, so we know how students find us. Our analytics service sets its own cookies to measure how the site is used. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Your Choices and Grievances

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
