Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Ready Aviator is an independent exam-preparation platform for Indian DGCA candidates. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@readyaviator.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account: your name, email address, and your license-goal preference (e.g. CPL/ATPL/PPL); an exam date if you choose to add one.

As you use the platform: the questions you attempt, your answers, progress, bookmarks, and time spent — so we can grade you and show your progress.

When you buy access: our payment provider (Razorpay) processes your card/UPI payment. We do not see or store your card or UPI details; we store only the order and payment identifiers, the amount, and the payment status.

If you use the Radio Telephony voice simulator: the audio you record is sent to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text to convert it to text. This is only collected if you actively use that feature.

Automatically: basic technical and log data (such as IP address, device and browser type, and error diagnostics) needed to run the service securely and fix problems.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to provide and improve the service: to run your account, grade answers, track and personalize your progress, process payments and grant access, keep the platform secure and prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising and do not build advertising profiles about you.

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We use trusted providers to run Ready Aviator. Each receives only the data needed for its function:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting and aggregate, privacy-friendly usage analytics.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring.
  • Cloudinary — hosting of explanation diagram images.
  • Upstash — rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Razorpay — payment processing.
  • Google Cloud — generating worked explanations and, if you use the voice simulator, converting your speech to text.

Some of these providers (notably Google Cloud) may process data on servers outside India. By using the affected features you consent to this transfer, which is carried out with appropriate safeguards.

5. Students Under 18

Many DGCA candidates are 17 or 18. Ready Aviator is open to under-18 students. We do not carry out behavioural tracking or profiling of minors and do not direct any advertising at them (we run no advertising at all). If you are under 18, we encourage you to use Ready Aviator with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the service. Payment and transaction records are retained for as long as required under applicable Indian tax and accounting law.

7. Data Security

Your data is stored using Supabase with encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls (row-level security) so that you can only see your own account data. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management; these are required for the platform to function. We use only aggregate usage analytics and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Your Choices & Grievances

If you have any question about the personal data we hold, or wish to correct your account information, contact us at hello@readyaviator.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

For any privacy concern or grievance, contact us at hello@readyaviator.com and we will address it as quickly as we can.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
