Every statement about another platform here was read from their own public pages, fetched anonymously, without signing in or registering anywhere, on 8 September 2026. Each entry links to the site it describes and the text of every page we read is stored with the date, so a claim can be checked later. Where a platform prints no price the entry says "No public pricing published (checked 8 September 2026)" and stops, and where a capability is simply not described on their pages we say that rather than saying they do not have it. None of these banks is readable without an account, so nothing on this page says anything about the quality of anybody's questions, including a comparison of ours against theirs.
The entries are in alphabetical order rather than ranked, and the opinions live in the six use cases below, each tied to a stated criterion you are free to disagree with. We recheck quarterly. If something here is wrong or out of date, write to hello@readyaviator.com.
Six questions students actually arrive with. Four of the six are answered with somebody else's product.
Criterion: the most you can use without paying anything. Docpilot's whole bank opens on a free registration and free is the proposition rather than a tier of it. PilotSphere is the close second and arguably the better free account, because it gives away nearly eleven thousand questions, mock tests in seven subjects and three RTR voice attempts, but it asks you to register too. If you would rather not register at all, we are the only one of the eight that shows you five questions of every chapter with the answer and no account, and that is a sample rather than a bank.
Criterion: can you read the working, and can you check it before you pay. This is our own page, so treat this pick as the interested one and go and look: five questions of every chapter are public with no account, whole chapters open free with their solutions, and the Air Navigation calculation chapters animate the working. Every other platform here says its questions carry explanations and every one of them sits behind an account, so nobody's claim on this can be checked from outside, including ours until you open it.
Criterion: practice for the specific screening batteries Indian airlines use. PilotSphere is the only one of the eight that publishes ADAPT, COMPASS and Aon cut-e practice, sold as yearly bundles from Rs 599 to Rs 1,999. eATPL lists a pilot aptitude test page and an Airbus simulator in its navigation, and AvioQuiz sells airline interview and ATPL viva banks, which are interview preparation rather than aptitude testing. We do not offer aptitude simulators at all and are not building them.
Criterion: both parts covered, and how much of it you can try before paying. PilotSphere gives 1,355 RTR Part 1 questions free with an account and three free attempts at a Part 2 voice simulator with 127 scenarios, then charges Rs 499.97 for ten attempts. Ours is the other shape: a phraseology library and worked calls that are free and need no account, a Part 1 bank with worked solutions, and the voice simulator on the paid plans. MyCPL describes RTR(A) headset simulations from home. Nothing on the Docpilot, Epilot, AvioQuiz or Golden Epaulettes pages we read describes RTR at all.
Criterion: the least you can pay and still get a full bank with its explanations through an exam cycle. AvioQuiz Pro is INR 299 for sixty days as a single payment with nothing renewing, which covers most of a run-up. Epilot Basic at Rs 199 is the lowest single month here if your paper is four weeks away, but it renews until you cancel it. If your budget is genuinely zero, this is not your question and the free row above is.
Criterion: an installable app that holds the question bank and works without a connection. On the pages we read, none of the eight has one. Docpilot advertises offline access and progress sync with an App Store badge marked Soon. MyCPL ships real apps on Android and iOS, but they are the CX-3 flight computer and a scientific calculator rather than the bank. Golden Epaulettes describes itself as fully responsive, which is a web app. We have no app, no offline mode and nothing announced. Every one of these is a website you open in a browser, so pick on what is inside it.

Which is the best DGCA question bank in India?
There is no single answer, which is why this page is organised by use case rather than as a ranking. Docpilot opens the most for nothing, PilotSphere gives away the largest free bank and is the only one with airline aptitude practice, Epilot publishes the biggest bank overall, AvioQuiz is the cheapest paid bank with explanations, and Ready Aviator, which is us, sells the working behind the answer. Read the six sections above and pick the one whose criterion is your criterion.
Is Ready Aviator on this list because you wrote it?
We are on the list because we are one of the eight, and we wrote the list, and both of those are said in the first two sentences of the page. Ready Aviator sits in its alphabetical slot with the same six fields as everybody else, including a limitation that is a real one, and four of the six use cases above are answered with somebody else's product.
Are these eight all of them?
No. These are the eight Indian DGCA question banks we could reach, read and store a dated record of, and there are ground schools and coaching centres that run banks for their own students which are not public at all. How current is this page?
Every statement about another platform was read from their own public pages on 8 September 2026, and the text of every page we read is stored with that date. We recheck quarterly. Prices and features change weekly in this niche, so follow the links and look before you decide.
Why does an entry sometimes say a price is not published?
Because it is not. Where a platform prints no price on any page we could reach, the entry says "No public pricing published (checked 8 September 2026)" and stops there. We do not infer a price from a forum post, a screenshot or a message from a student, and we never state that a platform lacks a feature when what is true is that we could not see it.
