How to apply
- Step 1. Minimum age 16 for PPL and 18 for CPL; 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, or the NIOS equivalent, which the site's FAQ says non-science students may use; a valid DGCA medical, Class 1 for CPL; vision correctable to 6/6
- Step 2. The site states there is no minimum height requirement and that Indian and foreign nationals are welcome
Whichever school you choose, the licence needs a DGCA Class 1 medical, a DGCA Computer Number and five theory papers from the DGCA exam syllabus, practised in the DGCA question bank and under a timed mock test.
Common questions
Which Alchemist Aviation fee applies to me?
Whichever trainer you fly. The school publishes one total for the route flown on the Cessna 152 and a higher one for the route flown on the Cessna 172, with the same multi engine and instrument rating hours in both. Both are in the table on this page with the label attached.
Is the fee refundable if I stop training?
The school states that fees already paid are not refunded if a trainee discontinues, and that fifty hours of course fee must be paid at booking to hold the slot. That is a real commitment before you have flown, and it is published rather than hidden.
Why can I not open the fee page on my phone?
The site renders nothing without JavaScript. The course, fleet and questions are inside the page data, but the fee table is drawn in the browser, so a slow connection or a stripped down browser can leave you looking at a blank page.
