How to apply
- Step 1. Four stages
- Step 2. Stage 1 eligibility screening: 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English, a valid or in-process DGCA Class 2 or Class 1 medical, minimum age per DGCA, and basic English
- Step 3. Stage 2 an academic and psychometric assessment covering basic Physics, Mathematics, English proficiency and logical reasoning, plus decision-making, stress tolerance and situational awareness
Whichever school you choose, the licence needs a DGCA Class 1 medical, a DGCA Computer Number and five theory papers from the DGCA exam syllabus, practised in the DGCA question bank and under a timed mock test.
Common questions
Is ARCA Global Aviation ranked by the regulator?
Not yet, and the reason is printed against its name: the ranking exercise excludes an organisation that had not completed eighteen months since approval at the cut-off date. That is a statement about how new the approval is, not about how it trains.
When do I actually pay?
In six stages tied to the course rather than to the calendar alone. The assessment is due at enrolment and is not refundable, admission confirmation follows the entrance test, and the remaining stages fall before named blocks of flying hours or named months, whichever comes first.
What is not in the fee?
The examination fees the regulator charges, medical expenses and statutory charges are all extra, and landing and navigation charges on cross country flights are billed on top. The school also reserves the right to revise the fee for fuel prices and inflation.
