Flytech Aviation Academy

A Hyderabad academy whose commercial licence is flown entirely on single engine aircraft, which makes its published figure cheaper and not comparable with the rest.

Flytech Aviation Academy trains near Hyderabad, and the most important thing about its published commercial licence figure is not the amount but the syllabus behind it. The course is two hundred hours flown entirely on single engine Cessna aircraft, with the instrument flying done in the aeroplane and in a ground simulator, and no multi engine hours in it at all.

That makes the figure genuinely lower and genuinely different. Most published commercial licence packages in this directory buy a hundred and eighty five single engine hours and fifteen hours on a twin, and the twin hours are the expensive ones. Setting this academy's number beside those without noticing the difference would be comparing two different products.

The academy also publishes what it does not cover, which is short and specific: examiner fees, night flying charges and documentation charges, with the whole figure marked approximate and subject to fuel and currency movement.

The regulator prints approval 16/2016 against this organisation, records its ownership as Pvt, and gives the approval as valid to 17 November 2027.

The CPL page names Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 only, matching the regulator's two types. The regulator counts 4 single engine and no multi engine, which is consistent with the site publishing a CPL that is flown entirely on single engine aircraft.

Where the regulator ranks it

DGCA ranking, 1 April 2026 edition: Category B, printed at serial 6. It was Category C in the 30 September 2025 edition, so this is a move in the regulator's own letters between the two.

The regulator publishes a letter and a serial number and no score at all, so there is nothing behind the letter to inspect and nothing here to rank schools against each other by. The bands the letters come from, and how many organisations sit in each on this edition, are set out on the flying schools in India index.

What that figure covers, in the source's own words

Inside the figure, and outside itQuoted rather than summarised. Where the source says nothing about an item, neither does this table, and an unmentioned cost is not the same as an included one.

How you get in

Admission to the CPL is open all year. Ground classes are taken preferably April to August after 10+2; flying training can be joined at any time. Fee is paid as ground school fee at admission then flying fee in four 50 hour blocks (at admission, within one month of ground classes starting, after 6 months and after 9 months), with a discount if all 200 hours are paid at once. Fees once paid are neither refundable nor transferable.

The site gives the operations address as Gurramguda, Saroor Nagar, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, which is the campus serving the Nadergul aerodrome the regulator lists.

Corporate office at Paigah Colony, S.P. Road, Secunderabad, Hyderabad.

What this school does not publish

The academy publishes no price for adding the multi engine hours a student would need afterwards, because it does not sell them.

The figure is marked approximate and the academy states it moves with fuel prices and the dollar, so what you are quoted may differ from what is printed.

Where this sits in the wider cost

Nothing above is the whole cost of becoming a pilot. Our pilot training cost in India page has the full stack from the medicals to the type rating, and CPL course fees in India puts this school's licence figure next to the rest of the market.

Common questions

Why is the Flytech Aviation Academy fee lower than other schools?

Because it buys something different. The published course is flown entirely on single engine aircraft, and the fifteen multi engine hours that sit inside most commercial packages in this directory are the expensive part. You would still need those hours, and they would be a separate purchase somewhere else.

What does the published figure include?

Two hundred hours of flying including night and solo cross country time, twenty hours of instrument flying in the aeroplane, twenty more in a ground simulator, several hundred hours of ground school, books and materials, and the hours set aside for skill tests.

What is left out?

Examiner fees, night flying charges and documentation charges are all stated as extra, and the figure itself is published as approximate and subject to change with fuel and currency.
