Additional Practice Questions: Human Factors (Part 2): DGCA Air Regulations questions

The second practice set is weighted towards the psychology of flying: how alertness, motivation and workload shape performance, and what automation changes in a pilot's job. A smaller group returns to the gas laws.

Most of the 30 questions ask you to pick the one true statement about arousal, CRM training, long-term memory, motor programmes or human reliability. The physiology items cover partial pressure, carbon monoxide and safe altitudes on air and on oxygen. Exam sessions have used 1 of these questions.

Performance peaks at moderate arousal, so too little workload breeds missed cues just as overload does. Carbon monoxide binds to haemoglobin far more readily than oxygen, so it starves the tissues of oxygen even when the air around you is normal.
