Air Traffic Services - Air Law: DGCA Air Regulations questions

Annex 11 defines three air traffic services: air traffic control, flight information and alerting. The weight here falls on what each service does for you and on the phases the alerting service works through.

Its 32 questions are definition led: distress and the alerting phases, who starts the alert phase, ATIS content and updating, the sections of an AIREP, the purpose of clearances and the flight information region. Exam sessions have picked 4 of them.

An AIRMET warns of en-route weather that may affect low-level flights, while a SIGMET covers hazards to all aircraft. A clearance is also no promise of terrain clearance. That stays with the pilot in command, except while an IFR flight is radar vectored.
