International Organisations and Conventions: DGCA Air Regulations questions
Air law rests on a few international treaties. The Chicago Convention of 1944 created ICAO, and other conventions deal with airline liability, damage on the ground and crimes on board.
The 29 questions match each convention to its subject, name the freedoms of the air, and cover filing differences from ICAO Standards, leasing, cabotage and some Indian points. Exam sessions have included 11 of these convention questions.
Tokyo and The Hague are often swapped: Tokyo deals with offences on board and the commander's powers, The Hague with unlawful seizure of aircraft. Rome and Warsaw are the other pair. Rome covers damage to third parties on the surface, and Warsaw a carrier's liability for passengers, baggage and cargo.
