Flying schools in Delhi

There is no DGCA approved flying training base in Delhi. Several schools advertise a Delhi address, and every one of them does its flying at an airfield in another state, which is the single most useful thing this page can tell you before you walk into an office in Dwarka.

There is no DGCA approved flying training base in Delhi. The regulator's own list, as on 30 March 2026, bases not one of its approved flying training organisations in the city. That is the finding, and everything below follows from it: the schools you will be shown with a Delhi address, the airfield each of them actually uses, and what is approved in the states around Delhi. The list is read from the DGCA's published list of approved flying training organisations, and the fees below were last checked 8 September 2026. Every row carries its own date as well.

The schools with a Delhi address, and where they fly

The approved list holds nine organisations that advertise an address in Delhi or Gurugram while being approved to fly somewhere else. The address is real and in most cases the ground school behind it is real too. What it is not is a base. Each row below gives the address in the words we recorded it in, then the airfield the regulator approves that school to fly from, which is where you will actually be living during the flying phase.

Read the second column before the first. Pioneer Flying Academy and Chetak Aviation are both approved at the same Dhanipur airstrip at Aligarh, so a student choosing between two Delhi offices is choosing between two schools sharing one field. Jet Serve Aviation, whose only published address is a Gurugram tower, is approved at Khajuraho and Jalgaon under the Flyola name, neither of which appears on its own site at all. Skynex Aero runs its ground school in Dwarka and flies from Jalgaon and Mahsana, and its brochure claims a third base the approval does not carry. Redbird's headquarters are in New Delhi and the regulator bases it in four other states.

The nearest approved bases, by state

These are the approved organisations in the four states around Delhi, plus Madhya Pradesh, which is here because two of the schools with a Delhi office do their flying there. The tables give the airfield, the fleet and the approval exactly as the regulator prints them, with each school's fee and its label beside it.

There is no distance or travel time anywhere on this page. The regulator publishes an address, not a journey, and a plausible drive time from Delhi is the same invented number as a plausible fee. Look the airfield up yourself and decide what counts as near, because for a course this long the answer is about where you will live rather than how far it is.

What to ask a school with a Delhi office

One question settles most of it: at which airfield will my hours be flown, and can you put that in writing. Then ask what the quoted fee covers once you are living at that airfield, because accommodation and food at a small field in another state are real money and they are almost never inside the number you were shown in Dwarka. Finally, check the name you were given against the regulator's list yourself. An office in Delhi is not an approval, and the list is public.
